John DeJoie knows that veterans have proudly served the United States throughout our history. We owe these brave men and women a debt of gratitude for assuring us of the freedoms which we take for granted. This nation made a simple, yet solemn promise to each of these soldiers; you protect this country, and we will take provide you with help that you or your family need upon your return from battle.

• Today, veterans often travel great distances for care. Veterans often wait too long for basic care or receive inadequate care. New Hampshire veterans live in the only state without a full service Veteans Administration facility. This is not the promise we made to our vets and we must all do better.
  
  
  As you congressman, John DeJoie will:

  • Support a full service VA facility in New Hampshire;
  • Oppose cuts in services to veterans as a budget cutting measure;
  • Assure veterans that healthcare reform will not come at the expense of veterans services;
  • Live up to the promises we have made to veterans who protect this country.
